Al Meyers, CPA, MBA

Professional Experience 

Al Meyers is a Certified Public Accountant and a trusted tax and business advisor. Al’s recent experience includes individual and business tax preparation, advisory and compliance services for a national tax preparation, financial services and small business solutions provider. Throughout his three-decade career, Al has helped companies identify marketplace gaps and turn opportunities into scalable businesses.

After starting his professional career as an auditor at Ernst & Young, Al spent more than 20 years in the media and entertainment industry, most which was spent at Turner Broadcasting. Meyers is also the founder of two Atlanta nonprofit organizations: TEDxPeachtree (merged to become TEDxAtlanta) and the Atlanta Music Project.

Role in Manay CPA

Al works as a Director, Tax Services at Manay’s Atlanta office, where he is responsible for helping expand Manay CPA’s accounting operations capacity as well as developing relations and coordination with Manay CPA’s clients and prospective customers. This includes:
• bookkeeping
• domestic and international tax preparation
• advisory and compliance services
• financial consultancy

Personal Interests

Al loves to play and watch most sports, especially baseball and soccer, stemming from his days as an All-State high school soccer goalkeeper and an All-IVY Division I College Baseball player Al is also the Co-Chair of the Penn Alumni Interview Program of Metro Atlanta and enjoys mentoring young students and student-athletes. Most importantly, Al enjoys family time with his wife and two children.
